All our records are strictly graded by at least 2 people to ensure that you receive a record in the condition you believe it to be at the time of purchase.

Normally a record will only have one grading which indicates the overall condition. However if a record has two grading's listed the first refers to the condition of the cover and the second to the condition of the vinyl.

To make sure that we don't get it wrong we are more likely to opt for a lower grade as opposed to a higher one.

The record will be brand new and therefore will have no imperfections.

Must be in perfect condition with no audible and visible defects whatsoever. The record and cover/sleeve should appear exactly as brand new.

Almost mint but has one or two minor visible marks on the cover/sleeve or surface with sound quality remaining perfect

Not quite perfect. There might be a slight chance of minor deterioration in sound quality. The cover/sleeve may show slight wear.

The surface and cover/sleeve shows visible signs of wear due to the fact it has been played on a regular basis. There will be some audible surface noise but it will not effect the listening experience.

The sound quality has deteriorated due to being played often. The cover/sleeve and surface will show considerable signs of wear and tear with some possible damage.

Has been neglected, but is still playable. There will be major audible defects such as loud clicks or jumping. The cover/sleeve may be badly damaged.

In terrible condition and absolutely unplayable. Would only be of use as a last resort to complete a collection.
